Larry Pierce - Drums/Vocals

Larry Pierce - Drums/vocals | Hubcap & the Loose Nuts | Blues band

Larry Pierce started playing drums professionally at the age of 12 with his Uncle's band, "Red Circle Playboys" which was a country band in Houston, Texas.  He stuck around for a while because his uncle knew some people before they were famous: Link Davis, Johnny Lee, and Mickey Gilley.  From there he played with several bands that came and went like:  "Reality's Children" & "Spotlights of Houston".

Larry then moved to Tyler, Texas and joined up with "The Davenport Bros".  He then met Tim Wheeler & Jerry McCoy (a couple of young men compared to himself).  Larry, Jerry, and Tim all got together and formed "Tim Wheeler & The Magic".  Next, Jerry, JD Hill, and Larry started a band named "Bare Necessities".  Then "Cold Shot" with Jeremy Hill.

Larry also played in church with recording artist Terry Davis, Ronnie Weiss, and John Mize.  Presently Jerry McCoy, Nathan Tubb, Tad Phillips, and Larry are the "Hubcap & the Loose Nuts".

It's been a long, great journey.
